Work on at the Tai Tapu Sculpture Garden Autumn Exhibition

My project Haast - Hāwea featured at the Tai Tapu Sculpture Garden annual exhibition this year.

The garden is open on weekends throughout March, or by appointment at other times. $10 entry.

haast - hāwea's first album. A collection of meditative tracks linked seamlessly by the field recordings that inspired them. Created using field recordings made on and around the various peaks of Central Otago Lakes District in New Zealand.

Finalist in FNMC Competition

I recently was a finalist in the 2020 FNMC Composition Competition for my work Forest Ringlet for Solo Flute!

http://www.flutenewmusicconsortium.com/2020-competition-results.html

Forest Ringlet is a colourful short piece with playful leaps and runs reflecting the life of New Zealands Forest Ringlet pēpepe/butterfly. The Forest Ringlet is an endangered species and only found in the North of the South Island and small areas in the North Island.

If you are interested in taking a look at or performing the piece please get in contact. It should also be available soon on sites like SOUNZ. You can contact me via the contact page on this website or at my email: iclaydecomposer@gmail.com
